WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Dark Horse Vs Working on a Dream

Posted 8 months ago

picked up Springsteen's latest ... Working on a Dream ... not really sure how to judge it ... maybe i am just not springsteen's audience anymore, and maybe some folks do live by his philosophy

i am hoping he's just pandering to record sales and is not getting depressed himself ... the CD sounds like the soundtrack of an overly emo movie about some depressing neighborhood with the typical cast of hackneyed characters with their make believe jaded lives

dunno man ... i am just a rock lover who grew up listening to Born in the USA, and then a whole lot of Human Touch when my relationship with this older chick went south ...

Cheer up Bruce. Happy that I also picked up Dark Horse from Nickelback. Bruce depressed me so I ended up listening a whole lot to Chad Kroger on 'Something in your mouth' while thinking about this cute massage girl Rose at a seedy massage place in a seedy neighborhood.

Seedy > Hackneyed

Eventually, I regained my sanity and came back to John Mayer's 'Good Love is on the Way'.
