It wasn't until I saw this band was coming to Indy that I'd even thought of them for a while. It wasn't until I thought of them that I realized they put an album out this year. It wasn't until I listened to the album that I realized how much I've missed this band and their music. Just thought you might need a reminder too.

This morning, I noticed a little black dot hanging in the air in my closet. Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a spider. My immediate thoughts were: 1) I don't spend enough time at home 2) I've been playing this song too much and the spider thought it'd be welcome here. I'm leaning towards option 2. :)Thanks to Amber for introducing me to this band. I've been enjoying them a lot.

The weather has warmed, the flowers have bloomed and the birds are singing in the trees. This can only mean one thing. Concert season is upon us. As a matter of fact, it's already well out of the gate, and, if you haven't been paying attention, it's probably run past you and on down the road. Well, don't stand there; get after it!June has set itself up to be a good month for me. June 2nd found ...

Well, it's been a bit since this transpired, but I figure I'll share anyway. May in Indianapolis can only really mean one thing. It's time for the Indy 500 again. Every year, the track hosts a concert for Carb Day. Usually, it's Kid Rock or some nu metal band that really doesn't do much for me. This year was different though. Stone Temple Pilots were headlining the concert, and I thought tha

and rain. I live in Indianapolis, and I hardly ever go to the track. This year though, STP is playing the Carb Day event, and I've always thought it would be cool to see them live. So, I took a day off work and was rewarded with rain. Is this going to stop me from going? No. So, I'm off to drink Foster's Oil Cans and check out the track. Here's to hoping only my insides get wet. :)

Friday night was definitely looking to be a great night. I was still feeling pretty good after my great concert experience on Thursday. I was going to see The Kills in a small club in Chicago, and I had friends that were going with me. I'd even been taking care to get a decent amount of sleep and refrained from drinking all week. I didn't want a repeat of last week when I was too hung over to driv

been to a show and felt like you were the only one there? Maybe not the only person, but maybe just one of like a half dozen people? Last Thursday was my night, and it was beautiful. I've been to plenty of shows here in Indy at the Egyptian Ball Room. It's one of my favorite local venues. It's a large, open room with great acoustics. Well, it's normally a large open room. After going up a couple f

I've been back from vacation for almost two weeks. There was a lot of madness before I left, and it meant I didn't get to contact the people I wanted before heading out. Hopefully, I get a chance next time to get ahold of some of you Londoners ahead of time and we can all meet for drinks again.!http://images.zeroskilz.multiply.com/image/4/photos/18/500x500/1/Beth.jpg?et=7Qeys541Szl5ptSXx%2C8xvA&
