I just got home from the most wonderful guided meditation session and I feel amazing...
I am a big visualizer anyway, but now more than I can remember for a long time I have the most beautiful images swirling through my head and heart and so here I am sharing it with you all...sending you all love, hope, happiness and positive energy not just at this moment but for all moments...
Might sound like a 'wank' but this is just how I feel... c'mon everyone 'GROUP HUG'...
Nothing like Josh to stir up some emotion hey...

now that reminds me of a time when I was a young spud, and my parents would spontaneously jump up and yell out to us kids (all 7! of us) GROUP HUG! This would go on for a number of years and then one day my little sister pulled me aside and asked "Whats a dew hud? Now, everytime we get together, someone always yells out DEW HUD! and we have one big "DEW HUD"
Thats a lovely family story...:-)... I know I came out of the meditation beaming today...just beaming from the inside out!! A truly lovely feeling, and I couldnt help myself I had to hug everyone before they left... I saved the biggest one for Helen who took the session and as I hugged her and thanked her I could actually feel a rainbow of energy and calm flowing freely between us...I have since found myself smiling at everyone and everything today... needless to say I am going back next Saturday...and the one after and after... :-)
Another great track, thanks, Ive recently managed to get my 73 year old Dad to give me a 3/4 hug, its cool, never too late to start and 3/4's is better than 0
Never too late... in fact I have just got off the phone from talking to my mum and dad for just on two hours, I have had alot on my plate of late and just disconnected from them and alot of people...I cant remember the last time I talked to them for so long... and finished off telling them I loved them both.... several times.... and damn I feel good... and yes a 3/4 hug is definitely a huge thing sometimes...
We used to do a variation on that theme. When we (my wife and two boys) were feeling particularly crazy, we'd wrap ourselves into a tight ilttle ball with arms wrapped around each other, and do a group scream. Each of us at the top of our lungs. Then we'd all fall down laughing so hard at the insanity of it.
Great times.
Yeah, Earthman---your dad sounds similar to mine....a few years ago I just started telling him, at the end of a phone conversation, "I love you"--even though I knew he loved me he has never been one to express "gushy" sentiment...but now he says it (sometimes, not like every 5 minutes, thank God--that would just be fake) without seeming uncomfortable...it's genuine--yeah, never too late
