WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

My daily fix of DCFC... Grapevine Fires (live in Seattle)

Posted about 1 year ago

Its funny how in the mornings we have a ritual that we follow, it never varies much, or god forbid out whole day just seems to be out of kilter.

I am actually very interested in peoples morning ablution processes (not in detail thank you very much!!!) but it is interesting to know that everyone, and so far in my research everyone follows a particular ritual each and every morning (weekends excepted), and alongside that all parts in that process are conducted in a very specific order.

The order of the shower, teeth cleaning, getting dressed, making the bed, getting organised for the day ahead...the timing of that first magnificent java that tastes like the best one we've ever had is finely tuned and the sequence doesnt alter, unless we sleep in and then...our world has no order and chaos reigns for the entire day...

I have as part of my ritual the playing of music at a certain moment, it sets my mind space for the day ahead, its never missed and its a not negotiable.

At the moment DCFC starts my day, each and every day... one day I may need to vary my ritual and change artist (OMG) but not right now...

btw.. I always felt this song reminded me a little bit of of Trespasser Wiliiams Song "Lie in the Sound"  DCFC has some chord changes that sound very similar.

no set order but gotta do the essentials, the only thing that will set me off kilter is if i left out the music and checking my MOG comments and emails! Great song/video ZenR!

I truly don't think that DCfC will ever leave my "must listen to at some point of my day" rotation.  I can see me as a little old lady sitting on my rocking chair with their music playing in the background ... sweeeeet!   :)
