I have just arrived in Hong Kong after 48 hours straight travelling..
LA to NY to London and finally onto Hong Kong where I will spend the next two nights... trying to reclaim several million brain cells lost somewhere at 33,000 feet...
Never again....well not until next time anyways :-)
As previously promised here is a little ZR pictorial of the last three months...
My first ever white christmas (just after I arrived 23rd December 08)
Phoenix and my favourite cactus
New York..sigh
Vegas.. the Bellagio at its best
Mexico - The resort I stayed at had it all
A few music highlights I was able to capture:
Regina Spektor
Ra Ra Riot
Gabe Dixon
Lenka
I only have net connectivity for another few days then its off to the jungle... but here's hoping before long you will see my smiling face again...
Lots of love always
ZR
A sentimental favourite...

Oh my, you had an amazing journey! You'll be on a natural high for the next year. Thank you for the pictures.
Love Lenka's little keyboard and the Hooverphonic song you picked, one of my favs as well :)
Beautiful pics....thanks for the morning treat.
And I agree....NYC ..sigh :)
I woke up this morning with this song in my head. It sort of fits here ZR. Good luck on your journey.
Thanks Anna - but not sure its a natural high, its more like being off my face with lag... lol... :-)
Deb... I still have many pics to download of sights and sounds... glad you liked..
Capn... always loved that song... made me smile big time to hear it even in my dazed and confused fugue... no home in sight for the next three months... but it never leaves me wherever I am..
Hoist up the John B sail indeed...
This is the worst trip? I think not. Ah, Mexico - has it all indeed. But so has Hong Kong. You're on an amazing sounding journey. Keep us filled with photos.
Yes its been a fabulous trip so far (other than ridiculous amounts of time in planes!!!) and much much more yet to come... tomorrow I will do a whirlwind exploration of Hong Kong... am 2 minutes walk from Star Ferry.. so a lazy boat trip across the harbour sounds just the trick to kick start some brain cells... :-)
Riding the ferry at night is fabulous. I used to go back and forth several times just to enjoy the skyline and the reflections on the water. The HSBC bank is pretty wild as well. It's completely glasss, including the elevators and it sits on stilts with a glass floor. You ride up in an escalator through the floor to get in. When they built it in the 80s it was the most expensive building in the world. I can't remember if it was designed by Norman Foster or Richard Rogers.
A few ferry trips tomorrow night sounds just the thing and I love photographing buildings... so thats a must see for me now..thank you :-)
from those of us who don't or can't get out of town much, thanks! beautiful pics, you world traveller!! From icelands to desert, crowds to solitude, looks like you are taking it all in...thanks a lot for sharing.
Yes! I lived a bit vicarioulsy there for a moment.....thanks for the pics and video (btw....were you the photographer for most of the pics??)
