Well there I was lying peacefully on my coveted deck chair in prime position around the pool.. when on this came.. without even knowing my arms were in the air and I was singing...
I fear that the multitude of baking peeps around me thought I was having some sort of episode...lol
Live in Warsaw in '94...
Great lyrics never fade hey...
I kept the right ones out
And let the wrong ones in
Had an angel of mercy to see me through all my sins
There were times in my life
When I was goin' insane
Tryin' to walk through
The pain
When I lost my grip
And I hit the floor
Yeah,I thought I could leave but couldn't get out the door
I was so sick and tired
Of livin' a lie
I was wishin that I
Would die
It's Amazing
With the blink of an eye you finally see the light
It's Amazing
When the moment arrives that you know you'll be alright
It's Amazing
And I'm sayin' a prayer for the desperate hearts tonight
That one last shot's a Permanent Vacation
And how high can you fly with broken wings?
Life's a journey not a destination
And I just can't tell just what tomorrow brings
You have to learn to crawl
Before you learn to walk
But I just couldn't listen to all that righteous talk, oh yeah
I was out on the street,
Just tryin' to survive
Scratchin' to stay
Alive

What's amazing to me is how many posts you can generate in a single day. I guess if corporate life were behind me, I'd have lots to celebrate in post form too.
It's amazing to me that they made such a comeback by doing ballads lol
Its amazing how one fills in their day when its cloudy in Cancun!!!!! :-)
Amazing
Yeppers!!! Amazing...
it's amazing that those boys lived through their 'rough years'! I'm glad they did! :)
What an amazing post!
yes, they never cease to amaze, do they. Picked up their first album the first week it came out, but few were interested. Then, 2 years later at college, "Dream On" is suddenly playing everywhere all the time. I think it was '76 when I saw them ruf and rockin' an outdoor fest here in Dayton...never ever would have thought they'd grow to such gargantuan heights. thanks for the clouds Cancun!
I'm a real "Back in the Saddle" guy, but I also have a place in my heart for later stuff like "Love in an Elevator." The ballads? Not so much. On the other hand, if they're bringing the fab Z.R. such pleasure, they can't be all bad. ;-)
