Perfect for a Sunday morning and for listening to whilst you read a few words of catch up from ZR before I head off to yet another airport... I hope so.....
I have been in Phoenix (visiting a dear friend who is also a camera buff)) for the last few days and its been wonderful... for the first time in 6 weeks I have felt the sun on my face, warming my very bones from the very inside out...
Its funny to think that in my home time of Melbourne as I write they are suffering a surge of record high temperatures (around 110 every day) and bush fires are raging everywhere... they are sweltering and would welcome some cool weather I am sure.... maybe I did pick the right time to travel after all...
However back to the now, I have spent the last days indulging my love of capturing the beauty of the land and architecture.
We took a trip out to Jerome a fascinating old mining town 7000 feet up in the mountains a few outs out of Phoenix and yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of spending a few hours exploring Frank Lloyd Wrights iconic school of organic architecture... it was wild..
Many photos were taken and many laughs had... today the sun is shining and the sky is blue, I am loved and life is wonderful...
This afternoon I am flying to Vegas... yep... Sin City...I love the lights in Vegas and cant wait to try out a few new lenses I bought in New York.. and maybe hear the winning ring of a few slot machines along the way..

Oh I nearly forgot... yesterday I had my very first 'Chimichanga' .. my only experience with them before was hearing about them on "meet the fockers' lol... I freaking loved that chimichanga.. and it wont be the last one I have... although I wish someone had told me before I had it that the ole 'ring of fire' would follow shortly after... :-)

Does everyone else see the 'esurance' commercials with the Cloud Cult music? Now every time I hear their music, I think "did I pay my insurance bill"?!!?? :D
LOL... yes well I did get stuck into the corn chips and salsa that came out before the 'chimi' which nearly blew the top of my head off...:-).. Just as well I had the worlds biggest strawberry margarita in front of me at the time... And I think I caught a quick glimpse of the ad you mentioned but I have no idea about who 'esurance' is ..lol.... I do really like their music tho ...
Cloud Cult hit instantly w/me & they haven't disappointed yet. Another great track.

Yes, I always think of the esurance commercials when I hear Cloud Cult now.....but that's not bad! I really like them I think the song in the ad is: "I'm Feeling Lucky"
Have fun in Vegas! You know what they say: what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, unless a MOGger wants to share, lol!
I too love to float amid the Cloud Cult miasma. Pleased to hear that the voyages are going well-ish, Z.R. As I am now in L.A. for a few months, let me know if you're gonna be heading this way in the near future.
