Hey gang...
I'm currently working on a poster for one of my favorite bands, Menomena. They're simply brilliant. (if you don't have their latest, "Friend And Foe", why not? It's worth it just for the album cover... the music makes it spectacular. ...and they're playing The Independent in San Francisco this Saturday...
...so... I'm trying to decide between posters... I've finished one, but I'm trying out another one... Which do you prefer? (keeping in mind I haven't finished the one with faces on it... it's going to be covered with faces...) So we're talking about the general idea here... haven't put type on the other one yet... or finished the faces...

I'm going with the top one. The faces are kinda creepy.
Awesome track BTW. I may want to pick up some more. Any recommendations. I'm get a 'Morphine' feel from them. Must be the horns.
Oh yeah. The actual vote would be for the top one. Friends and foes together! (Although one wonders how the bottom one will look when it's finished.)
Well, I vote for another one, I am big Menomena fan, have seen their album art but would love to see something really strong and out there that highlights there strong drummer David. (See my post on him earlier this week) I love this band too. I was a bit confused when they said last week they wouldn't be returnign to play in Portland for quite sometime?? Is there something that I don't know? I know David hasnt' been really happy and is doing a side project and all but so are alot of artists so probably healthy for him and the band. If I had to pick one, the top one for sure.. INdy x
