Track:...I Want a Pony

Has anyone ever asked for a pony with such wit and clarity? I present the most excellent Los Angeles pop band, Candypants. And please... help yourself to a second helping in the comments with the clever-as-can-be charmer, "Sweet Judy Blume Eyes."

Ooooh I like this! I've never heard of them before!
Are you there, Crosby, Stills & Nash? It's me...
wow, pinkerton, you're a fast one! (Didn't even make it to the comment!) Glad you like it! (think you'll like the second song, too... the whole album is excellent)
Cheers!
As an only child, I can say that this is my new anthem.
Only child?!? Ahem! :P
(digging the songs John)
Oh, that's right!
DALE, I WANT A PONY NOWNOWNOW!
Um ... I'm your brother, not your father. You must have me confused with that creep from the early days of MOG. ;)
I let my two daughter hear this and report back what they think. Things can only get better or worse, right?
Anna and Dale: I really wanted to sit back and watch the fireworks... I even popped the popcorn. (pretty funny stuff you two...
Lakposhti: When my friend's kid was born, through the age of seven or so, I used to tell them to ask their parents for a pony. Ah... the havoc you can wreak with a few words. I can't believe I'm still on speaking terms with my friends... ha.
SO clever! The singer is past prepubescence...right?
yup. Lisa Jenio is the singer... She's got a wicked sense of humor... and sounds as cute as a button. (If buttons could be classified as cute) She's certainly not scared off adult topics... there's a great song on the album called "Mandelay" that is not for the kiddies. The whole album is worth owning...
I do really enjoy her voice, it's cute but not cloying/cutesy. And their lyrics are very smart & funny. Thanks for this post!
I agree.
...and you're entirely welcome!
