Track:I Think I'd Thought I'd Nothing Else To Think About

It's the middle of summer, which means it's winter in New Zealand. Which means, I'm thinking about how great The Chills are again. They made great music for any time of year. Check out this combo... The first song "I Think I'd Thought I'd Nothing Else To Think About" is a brilliant post-punk rave up (pulled, pops and all, from my flexie disk I got out of a magazine... i think it sounds fantastic...) and (in the comments) I follow it up with an orchestral swirl of a story (aided by Van Dyke Parks) called "Water Wolves."
Martin Phillipps is an amazing song writer of such depth that he deserves every chance to be heard... (artwork created for my "Best of The Chills" mix cd...)

...and here's the creepy and beautiful epic, Water Wolves...
Now I feel like putting on gloves and drinking cognac, and it's hot here!
Water Wolves is brilliant........
Truly inspired artwork...
Wish I could listen to these, I love every Chills song I've heard so far in my life.
Why can't you listen to them, brother?
Not sure, but I refreshed the page and now I can, so yay! :)

Nice music too.
Anna Dale Annie...(sounds like the name of a great city)... Thanks for the comments! I was going to post all week on the Chills but decided that three posts in three months is probably okay... ha...
