  3. scotfree says First I've heard Mr. Bird, these are quite pleasing. Looks like he's found the missing darkmatter, eh? (I like whistling...)

  4. ZenPop says krooju: Glad you like it... there's plenty more where that came from... cheers! scotfree: He's a former member of Squirrel Nut Zippers, which was never my cup of tea... his solo stuff is more to my liking.... ...and a damn good live show, to boot...

  5. amber says I've never given Mr Bird a chance since I'm not a fan of Squirrel Nut Zippers either...that's what I get for being assumption-y. I've skipped Andrew Bird at festivals several times. Whoops. Guess I won't do ??that?? again. Thanks for steering me straight. :)

  6. Bartleby says Like Amber, Andrew Bird has been on my radar for a while but somehow I've failed to pay more attention to his music. Considering his talents and the quality of the compositions you've offered us, I can't seem to understand why he skipped me by. Even more inexplicable as I'm a big fan of multi-instrumentalist. I'll also add that his poster of yours ranks top favourite among the artworks you've been kind enough to share with us. Introspectively peeling off... Toying with the fact that Andrew Bird is also very well liked by the blog-o-sphere I've managed to stream his entire "Armchair Apocrypha" (have I mentioned that I also like clever people who can such alliterative phrase? )

Thank you very much indeed for the lovely listen and the poster. (The playlist above is an idea of Contrabandwidth's called "The MOG Aggregation Challenge")
