I Was A King is a band from Oslo, Norway that wields the shoegaze pop hammer in a way that would make Thor proud. I'm doing a poster for their show tonight at The Rickshaw Stop in San Francisco. I've posted it here. Limited-edition of 60. (I'm guessing Anna will like this one)
I'm pretty jazzed about this show, because I've been devouring I Was A King since I first heard their music a month ago... a wonderful debut album (self-titled). Check out the tunes posted... and be ready to listen for more... Comparisons to Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Joy Zipper or the like are favorable...
