Dach, I'm right there with you on that movie... that's the scene where the angels stop George in mid-sentence... If you love Capra (and everyone should), you'll LOVE Jimmy Stewart in "Shop Around The Corner"... They made a lousy remake of it called "You've Got Mail" (w/ Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan)... but the original is fantastic....
Contra... That sounds awesome... I gotta get some "Wormhole" game action... Anything to do with Guided By Voices? (They have an amazing song called "Wormhole"... love that tune...)

I just expect that the influenced artists bring something of their own to the party - and Elastica and The Jam certainly did. (Got an awesome mash of "Connection" and The Gossip's "Standing in the Way of Control." Really must post at some point.)
