.....I feel like it.....Beulah was an excellent band from here in the Bay Area... originally part of the Elephant 6 collective... They were a first-rate band live and this is my favorite song by them... (But if you're only going to get one album, make it "The Coast Is Never Clear"... brilliant from top to bottom)... This songs builds and builds and then the magnificent horn pierces through... ahhh.... sheer joy... and it's got a great title: "EMMA BLOWGUN'S LAST STAND".....

...I forgot to mention... YES. There ARE vocals... you just gotta be patient... they hit about halfway through... ...and again... well worth the wait...

I love a Pop group that has a horn section.
Your illustration above fits perfectly too!
Kind of reminds me of my sisters Judy Bloom book covers, circa 1980.

I lived in Atlanta for the past 10 years (as of a year ago), and the Elephant 6 collective are legendary. So many good bands, and great and different thinking in the middle of the south. I was not familiar with this band though, thanks for the preview, I'm going to check out eMusic now...

Thanks for all the comments!
D'mo- Not a horn section, only one fantastic musician... (but I know what you mean!) It was so cool to see these guys live because: a. their music is so good and b. whenever Bill Swan picked up the trumpet and played (every note perfect) is was goose bump time...
Contra- Excellent... you'll definitely get a kick out of this band...
MissJunk- My pleasure!... (makes posting here worth every moment...)
