When I was given this poster job, I didn't know too much about Martha Wainwright outside of the obvious musical family connections. After I did a bit of exploration, it became crystal clear that she's a solid talent in her own right.... Check out a tune from her latest... Well worth picking up. She's playing Slim's in San Francisco tonight as part of the always excellent Noise Pop Festival... I'll be selling these (limited-edition of 100) at the show...

Took you long enuff to get on the Martha bandwagon. I've been blissfully in love with her and her music for ages - and pimping her at MOG for the past couple of years. So you can imagine that it's brutal on me that I'm in L.A. right now, and won't be at this sure-to-be-intimate gig. (As ever, lovely poster image, Z.P.)

I love the UK and Portland... having been to both, I'd have to say that they share San Francisco's bent for overcast/foggy weather (at least in my neighborhood.)... But if I end up moving, I'll give you a heads up where...
MARTHA WAS FANTASTIC TONIGHT. I mean.. wow... what vocal chops! She's definitely worth checking out.
