I learnt of Deftones through a mate in Melbourne where I come from whilst living in Hong Kong.
At first I found the song eerie yet attractive and I became more drawn to them although lack of promotion through Asia meant that I could not find much of there music.
When their newest album Saturday Night Wrist came out I bought it almost straight away and loved the new sound from their previous albums.
They are highly experimental and Chino Moreno's vocals are both strong, eerie and energetic.
Deftones can play a wide range of music through electronic, to hardcore rock to a calm melody.
The fact that Deftones are so different and out there is what makes them such a great band. They really do work as a group and there is no one else like them.

My Trusted MOGs
I have only heard their songs here and there on the radio, but I've never owned any of their CDs. I've always been more inclined to listening to Limp Bizkit or even Korn, but I think its about time I spent some good quality time doing some catching up on some Deftones music. Although I have to say, I don't exactly like this song (Mein). I just finished listening to Hole in the Earth off their Saturday Night Wrist CD and I really liked it.
