This is a favourite artist of mine.. he used the Psuedonym Frankie Sparo.. in reality Frankie Sparo is Chad Jones, He was signed to the mighty Constellation Records. This is challenging late night music..Dissonant, Noir-ish, Minimal, pre-millennial tension.Sparo's febrile imagery alludes to visions of demons, taxi cabs, France, Terrorists.. a heady mix of modern distopia distilled into a paranoid blend of twisted social commentary from an era (1999) that belonged to the anarchic murmuring of Canadian indie-label Constellation.The best documents of a world about to change, (that never changes for the better) came out of this small label's roster..God Speed you Black Emperor in particular captured the mood.. pre-Bush, rise of the Internet/Intertainment..the end/beginning of a new darker time.Yes, He's scary!..Here comes the future..
