I'm back.
MOG was being an ass and kept forgetting that I had already registered, so I became lazy having to sign in through the whole 'forgot my password' process.
What's happened since?
1.My grandfather passed away, and I have learned the emotion of grief. 2.My parents went back to jakarta, leaving me as the legal guardian of my stubborn 10-year-old sister. 3.I became a desperate housewife at 18. fun.

Oh yeah, I'm hoping to catch either Wilco and John Mayer (or both!) when they hit Melbourne in March. Here's fingers crossed I'll have enough money to buy tickets then. They are quite pricy.

Sweet. I just got myself decent headphones for my iPod. Now I can drown out the annoying sounds of my siblings and my parentals. Haha.
Anyways, Damien Rice is a folk(ish) singer/songwriter from Ireland. Most of you have probably heard of him considering his songs served as the soundtrack for the movie 'Closer'.
I've been listening to his songs for the past year or so, and he's come out with a new album last year.
The song '9 Crimes' was on Grey's Anatomy (my favorite show haha) so I had to get the new album right.
K, I'm not really one to praise artists in eloquoent phrase, but check out 'Me, My Yoke, And I'. Not really his best work, but with lyrics like "my drum/my drum/my drum gonna make you come" it proves to serve well for those, ehem, lonely nights.

Anyways, it's getting pretty cold over here in Qatar. (Who knew it gets cold in the middle east?) Sadly, the houses here are not fitted with heaters, so every room is like a freaking icebox.
So what's a good song to cuddle up to during the winter? Preferably with a mug of hot cocoa and a wool blanket?
P.S. hope everyone had a great new years. I spent mine at home talking on Skype with my boyfriend (who happens to be 8 time zones away. Grrr).
