Music Updates: I've found myself in love with Aesop Rock all over again.
Moby's Animal Rights album has suddenly become my favorite Moby Disc...strange.
I've come to the realization that artists with beards are just more talented.
I've recently discovered that our local library has an extensive folk and blues cd collection. I'm excited. This means mass ripping of new stuffs for my iPod. they also have a decent, though predominately mainstream, rock section. But hey, whatever, free music... and they have like... every Waits album ever. God bless government funding for my music collection :)

A few months ago, I discovered my local library system is a good source of Motown tunes. Wish they had more blues, but I'll take what I can get.
But I'm pretty sure that Mos Def's "Black on Both Sides" might be the best hip hop record of the last 10 years... its just SO good, its got a pretty consistent flow is just too easy to get lost in, and lose an hour as the album plays on. Any suggestions that are similar, because if this is hip hop, I'm a fan...
