How do you guys feel? I just got a last.fm account and have been using it much more than mog. It seems to be more about music than people, as all of the recomendations come from computers observing what you play not from people observing what you play. I certainly like both, but I feel like last.fm has more options. What are your thoughts?also: I can't stand using the word MOG in a conversation. I

If you aren't familiar with it, the 40 Watt is a historic club. Situated in Athens, GA, they hosted infamus Athens bands such as R.E.M., the B-52's, and-- more recently -- Nuetral Milk Hotel. Sonic Youth, and Nirvana-- amung others-- have also played there. Last month, I was in Athens visiting my aunt and uncle and went out one night to see a local band, Tincup Prophette. Shit. I am really into No Wave, Lydia Lunch, Mars, but for some reason I have never gotten around to the early hardcore. Discharge is my first forray into this genre and I love it. I found a 1977 Demo and it sounds like it was layed down on a tape recorder that was lit on fire before they pressed record. You hear more sparks and feedback than melody. But you hear the kick. And you hear the speed.

Yeah, A couple weeks back I was changing to an external harddrive and lost 90% of my music collection. So, when you look at my tracks per artist thing and find Blink 182 as number four or whatever, I want you to know that I am still a good person, I did, however, used to be in middle school. Anyway, just getting back all the music I lost has severly hindered my ability to seek out new music. Mu...
