Xmas, missed my Mogaversary, end of the year purchase #1

Artist:Whit Hill and John Latini

Album:D-E-A-R S-A-N-T-A

Track:Christmas in Michigan
Well, I missed my second Mog anniversary on the 26th. So I'm making up for it now with an Xmas and end of the year song.
Instead of a Best of 2008 list (mostly because I didn't buy anything new this year, except maybe Kepi Ghoulie and Miss Treatment) I've decided to share with you all my final 2 purchases of 2008. First up is Whit Hill and John Latini's D-E-A-R S-A-N-T-A CD (which is a pain in the arse to type), I bought this CD for just this one song, Christmas In Michigan. I first heard this song about 2 years ago while schooling Sweden. I was alone in the computer room for the holidays so I tuned in WDET in Detroit. They played this song and it reminded me so much of home, as it should have. Usually I'm NOT a fan of white dudes trying to sing like old black men, but really liked John Latini's ode to old black blues men.
I'll shut up now, and let the song speak for itself. Don't worry if some references don't make sense to you, it just means you don't live in Southeast Michigan.

Mollifire - thanks for the note and thanks for reading. We need both writers and readers on here.
I could hear Tom Waits singing this . . . . Happy Mogaversary! My two year is coming up 1/08/09. There's quite a few of us who have mogaversaries right around this time too.
