   Augusts1 says *Indiepixie* click on their name in the tag at the top of the post & check out their lounge! *Weedies* you know a song has hit iconic status when it's included in a movie soundtrack. "Gorecki" is used in part in the movie "Moulin Rouge" & Nicole sings the first few lines right after Zieglar(her boss) sees the lovers kissing after rehearsal(yes, I love the movie). It threw me at first when I heard it cause it sounded so different in that context but then I saw the song title in the credits at the end. Love me some Lamb longtime! The 2nd song/vid "B-line" was my intro to them so it's my fave song. I saw the vid in a dept. store & was mesmerized! Since you like Lamb you should check out Lou Rhodes' solo work. I have her 1st cd which is a folkier affair than Lamb's music but no less compelling w/her stunning voice. She just released(in Oct. 07) her 2nd cd but it's not released here in the US yet since they're still finding a distributor even though she has her own label now.
