"Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" is a rock song perhaps best well known as an Animals song. It was written by Bennie Benjamin, Gloria Caldwell and Sol Marcus, and first made popular by Nina Simone. A disco version by Santa Esmeralda also became a hit in the 1970s. This version was included on the soundtrack to Kill Bill Vol I.It has been recorded by countless other artists including The Moody Blues, Elvis Costello, Joe Cocker and Cyndi Lauper. Here is a version done by No Mercy and featuring the great guitarist Al Dimeola
