The Hives apparently are having difficulty with their upcoming album, but are optimistic nonetheless, according to an interview with NME atthe Benicassim festival (below).Singer Howlin' Pelle Almquvist explained: "Sometimes it feels like we're making 'Chinese Democracy'," referring to the ??long-delayed?? Guns N Roses album, which has been in state of stalled production for nearly 9 years"It was recorded in seven or eight studios, so it's going to sound different [to previous work]," added drummer Chris Dangerous.In closing, Howlin' Pelle explained the album will be "proper next level shit."
