Thievery At Glastonbury: Brakes Implore The Public

Posted over 2 years ago
It appears the British rock group Brakes were victim of theft. Guitarist Eamon Hamilton lost his guitar at Glastonbury Festival and has since issued a plea to anyone who may have any information on its whereabouts, according to NME. Hamilton explained he left his Gewa Tennessee Bluesbird guitar in the mud outside the Leftfield Tent, sometime between 3AM and 7AM on Sunday (June 24), after playing a set at 2:30AM.The guitar was in a black case and had a 'Bronze Ace' wooden microphone pick up, with the 'Bronze' wording rubbed off.??Eamon Hamilton??He wishes to make it strongly understood, that although the guitar holds no real monetary value, it is of priceless sentimental value, as most tracks taken from their last two albums were composed on it.Information regarding the missing guitar should contact Rough Trade at the following website address www.roughtrade.com.It's was reported that the successful return of the guitar will be rewarded with a private gig in your front room by Hamilton himself.http://www.myspace.com/brakesband "NME":NM[NM]http://www.nme.com/news/29313
