German electronic duo Modeselektor will release their sophomore album via Bpitch Control on September 11. The album will feature Thom York, Maximo Park, and Otto von Schirach among others according to Pitchfork. ??Happy Birthday!?? is the follow up to 2006's ??Hello Mom!??. The title apparently came from the duo, Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary both being expected fathers.One of the more notable electronic acts presenting a commanding approach and delivery. They produce all their material with self-developed software and MIDI controllers, also doing very innovative live performances.
