The Dillinger Escape Plan's New Drummer "a fucking animal"

The Dillinger Escape Plan recently entered the studio with producer Steve Evetts (Saves The Day, Earth Crisis, Sepultra) to begin recording its new album for a late 2007 release. They are enlisted the help of a new drummer, Stolen Babies' Gil Sharone following the departure of Chris Pennie (he now plays drums with Coheed AND Cambria). According to their Myspace blog, the feedback is rather positive.From their MySpace blog: "Holy shit Gil is a fucking animal. Seriously, its ridiculous. There have been so many times when he has been playing and we just laugh because the shit he's doing is so out of control. You know when someone is so good at something you can't do anything but laugh? Well Gil is cracking us up. This guy is a SAVAGE. Drum tones sound monsterous, Steve Evetts is getting sounds Bonzo would rise from the grave for.
