On May 29, "Shout! Factory":SF will release Richard Thompson's ??Sweet Warrior??. The Album is his first work of all-new material since 2005’s ??Front Parlour Ballads?? (Cooking Vinyl) and his first electric disc since 2003’s ??The Old Kit Bag?? (Beeswing). Thompson was first recorded in 1967. Although most his work has maintained critical acclaim, he has yet to become a household name - with the exception of ??Front Parlour Ballads?? which debuted in the indie charts on both sides of the Atlantic.
