Mothers, hide your puppies. This weekend might prove to be a special one for me and my life partner Statler. We are thinking about going to our first rave, and yes we have already bought our glow sticks. The only problem is, do they even go on anymore? I can remember a few years back and the whole rave culture was the next big thing. Shit, they made movies about it, everyone listened to dance music, and dont even get me started on those damn baggy pants. Statler would wear them, and they were so big they could hide the effects of the 10 viagra pills he had taken in preperation. Do people even go out to dance anymore, I know I love me a good foxtrot now and then, but these raves I heard were the stuff of ledgends. If I remember right, and at my age this is always a crap shoot, they even had late night raves at the Woodstock Anniversary in 1994. So, are raves dead, are my hopes of all night dancing a thing of the past? I was hoping all you kids with your nose in the know could tell me a little something that maybe I had no clue about.
