Since Madeline Burke posted a song about Kaua'i, I'll follow up with another. One could sail 3 hours East or West from Honolulu and reach land. (Go North or South, and there's nothing for at least 2,000 miles...Tahiti to the South, Alaska well over 2,000 miles to the North.) Moloka'i has been kicked around by offshore corporate entities, lately, with a notice that water and sewer service will end for 1,000+ residents in August. So, let's head West on the S. S.
