This was the second night of the Rock the Posse weekend. All weekend the band had been just so accomodating to us. We had a gathering of Posse members in the afternon at a locaal watering hole names the Salt Hill Pub. The band had been invite and we had requested a Q & A session with them but the band management would not make any promises but our band would not disappoint their most devoted fans. They spent more than an hour with us talking, taking pictures, signing autographs then they sat down for the Q & A. What a day.The Posse also raised between tickets, an auction, raffle and donations over $3000 for the Child and Family Serves of NH and the Upper Valley. Here is Tedheadone's shorten review.I'm gonna make this short. Mainly because, once again, some odd keystroke has just totally erased about 30 minutes of work posting this show! GEESH!! Total frustration. So I'm gonna write something different..and short, I gotta run.. Grace, Matt, Scott, Bryan, Jen, Aya & mates participated in a very successful weekend fundraising event for the Child and Family Services of NH. It was announced $62,000 Friday night and up to $71,000 Saturday. Back to back nights of meet'n'greets. Generous with their talents and time, they made a difference, again. Yesterday, not long after arriving at the venue, they're over to "Rock The Posse" for an hour or so of wonderful face time with fans, off to sound check, back to a meet and greet (doubt they got near the shrimp, filet sandwiches, swedish meatballs and other delights) and then back to the venue to cheer on Jen's (handmade) CD release performance. What a beautiful voice and total support from the crowd..which once even broke into applause mid song..rare for an opener). Jen, and Aya Friday night, hit home runs in front of impressive and impressed crowds. Attagirl(s) !! I don't know why I should feel proud of them, but I do. I absolutely do. It was a rockin' set (which sadly did not include the gorgeous "Other Side" I heard practiced at sound check) but did include the following Jen, backing harmony seated at the B-3 next Grace on the Rhodes, on super-rarity "Go Down Low" from Original Soul. Might be my first time! Grace, vocally strong and right on, throughout. I knew it on 3rd song Meantime and it was flawless Scott intro to "Apologies" Scott nice ending on Sugar Incandescent guitar work all around on "Over Again" Grace saying on the four way drums NBTW "listen for the cowbell" Matt on "Your Time is Gonna Come" Finally a word on NBTW I...It was at the hot, hot, hot, Memorial Day weekend show last year, same venue, that Grace surprised everyone, including the band, by coming out from the wings with The V, strumming an electric intro to this song. Friday night, there was a completely experimental reworking of phrasing on this, and last night, Scott strummed along and Bryan and Matt climbed on, so again, not the expected a cappella. Finally, finally, Grace and Matt finished this fan friendly weekend out at the table in the lobby. What more could you ask for....? Setlist: Treat Bus Meantime Joey Mastermind Go Down Low w/ Jin Crowell on vocals Mary Ain't no Time Apologies Left Behind Sugar Over Again BWG //////////// NBTW Your Time Is Gonna Come
