The goal is to raise $8,000 -- enough to build an irrigation system and bring life - giving water to the farms of Gara Dima, a small village in Ethiopia. Irrigation could end Gara Dima's food crisis, save its children from dying of malnutrition and put the village on the path to becoming a self-sustaining community -- all for only $8,000.
