He sings a fine melody with a fine raspy voice. Never heard of him, but his band is tight and solid. The rhythm is oom pa oom papa, theoretically the same as heard on some rock & roll records from 1959, but maybe because of whatever the bassist is doing here, this is infinitely more swinging.
