what's old bay? btw, was this a popular song, sounding awfully familiar. def a good mood song. i could use that on my friday today.
Do you spread newspaper out on the kitchen table when you have a crab feed? I'm an old east coast girl and man I AM jealous. and I'm guessing the "old Bay" is the crab boilin' spice, yes?
I listen to ska on good days too somthin very summery about it, goes great with hawiian shirts and seafood. Having spent next to no time on the east side of the map I have no clue what old bay is. Tyler enlighten us.
BRIT -> yo, Ballyhoo! is a local Maryland band, they've caught on pretty good in the past couple of years, but no one outside Maryland seems to know anything about them -> i ran into a guy in Pennsylvania who had a ballyhoo! bumper sticker, I said what's up Ballyhoo rawks, and he looked at me all crazy, and when I pointed at the bumper sticker, he said it came with the car, he thought it was a political organization?!?!
And Madeline gets the door prize!! an old crusty addidas fish-head sneaker!! Sorry to flare up envy for some deliciously, old-bayed, steamed crabs, but nanny-nanny-boo-boo! I'll crack one open for ya!
Yeah, it's the best sea food seasoning known to man, it is bulk ordered and shipped all over the world, There are no real words to describe the taste, a little spicy, a little cajun kinda, and a little oceany -> buy some online and season some shrimp with it if you can't get your hands on a Chesapeake bay crab!
Dansemcabre -> yeah, ska gets me going in that good seabreeze in a jeep with the top down feeling, like how awesome it feels when you're on your way to do something really fun with a bunch of cool people and just never getting there, just enjoying the ride.!!
And yes Madeline -> I got a stack of old newspaper's for starting the fire and for spreading on the table when we got the bowl of melted butter for the corn-on-the-cob, crabs & shrimp, or when doing our own 'pit-style-meat' ->we did a pulled pork shoulder last weekend, bad to the bone...
Dude did thatguy just say "What is Old Bay?" Yeah, I thought he did. Yo, he should come down here to the shore where the serious crabbin scene is! Hell, crab are going for a hundfred dollar a bushel over here man, you must be doin alright chowin down on two of em!

yeah -> plans changed, I just spent $500 on 2 bushels of Jumbo monster crabs -> the family had a great time, that was my goal, and I got to have a monster fire in my new fire pit, so I waas happy!
