WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Sample Clearance - So Many Tears

Posted over 2 years ago

Alright this is a good one. Not because the song sampled is vague, but because the sample doesn't dominate the beat. You have to listen for it. It's so quick, that I don't know if Pac even had to pay for this one.

If you're missing it, listen especially to the short harmonica part at the hook, and the first couple notes following it.
Points:msquared64 - 5 points for original artist and song!

  5. TroyPowers says Man, I love the way posts are just appearing in any old order. Anyway, msquared, since it's Funky Friday, and the Funk is all forgiving...5 points for artist and track! Still 5 points for anyone who posts the track in a comment. Rawkkiddo, you can't blame me for this one. It's already mid-afternoon here on the east coast, buddy!

  6. msquared64 says I went to Stevie's (not really his Mog page, Artist page, I was flustered... wanted them points)... I knew it was him, but I couldn't figure out for sure which song it was.

  7. TroyPowers says Was it the harmonica that gave it away?

  8. contrabandwidth says With out looking, I'd say 80's era Stevie, which would make me deduce that it was "I Just Called To Say I Love You." And no I don't have the song to post but most definitely Stevie Wonder.
