MOG MOG

BECAUSE THE WEB MOSTLY SUCKS

Artist:
Track: No Alibi (Verse 2)
(21)

So, my girl brittanybf told everybody to throw up a lyric. Well, I started to, and it turned into a whole verse. Then, by the end, I realized such "vital lyrical science" really deserved a post of it's own.

This truly my be the single illest verse ever spit over 48 tracks. If you've got anything that can top it, please share. The delivery alone is a 13 on a scale of 1 to 10.

"Look into the window, tell me what you see Lieutenant University of Philosophy When ya not possibly escapin' what I'm meditatin' A shackle of thought tackle you while I'm educatin' Ya dome resonatin' from inhalation of darkness As I spark the smart shit fa which ya waitin' Situatin' me at the top of the pile Wild Delaware foul Pennsylvanian subterranean style Step up into my crevice and taste the medicine Of the champagne king like Evelyn Leavin' ya leveled and sabotaged It's all camouflaged like the devil and guns And coke peddlin', Olympic medallin' Flashback, that of a war veteran Blast that, the programmer Bringin' lashes 'cross ya back On some accuracy of a brainwashed Bosnian troop That swoop down through ya roof with foul sound On a lyrical Nat Turner mission Reactin' off of intuition Continuously alert, no intermission If ya ears hurt, you shouldn't listen That mean you artificial, and my style Will poison ya brain tissue Gettin' maimed and crippled, once the gamma rays hit you My grain's habitual, and I shall never go against The ritual I been masterin' ever since I was among the flavor youth Remain sharper than a saber tooth My deliverance is self-evident Vital Lyrical Science NOW!!!"

It's a toss up for me between this album and "Things Fall Apart" as my favorites. Both great, and Black Thoughts got some of the best flow ever.

I definitely know how you feel. I just did the whole second verse of Mos Def's "Hip Hop". You basically coulda put any Black Thought, any Common, and almost any Mos Def up there. There's a lot of people I'm leavin out, of course, but yeah Dope post.

i loose it after this, but it keeps up.

and since we're talkin science, here's some calculus from Mos Def's Mathematics (it's tempting to throw the whole thing up, but):

Numbers is hard to feel and aint never had feelings but you push too hard even numbers got limits. "why did one straw break the camel's back?", here's the secret, the million other straws underneath it. it's all Mathematics...

Yeah, I love Reflection Eternal. As for the Roots, I gotta go with Things Fall Apart

Nah, I think Illadelph Halflife beats Things Fall Apart. Man, I remember when Concerto of the Desperado dropped. I went completely ape-shit!
