I heard a rumor back in the day that all the "girls" in that video, were actually guys in drag... this rumor was from someone - who knew someone - who was on the shoot... but hey, that level of telephone tag is always suspect...
...however it might be where the inspiration came from for a Nuts commercial...
Man, I fear for humor when it becomes too self referential. For an ad to have such a specific age group in mind that would get it, seems like your just shutting out so many potential customers. Funny yes, but shit who outside of Gen X would get it?
There simply will never be an era for music (or entertainment in general) like the 80s. I don't know why this song popped into my head today.

This is a photo from a friend of mine's birthday party last month. A saw the picture, and thought to myself, "What the hell? Is she even old enough to remember the 80s?"
It turns out the theme of the party wasn't the 80s. It was "Bad Taste".
