This is Lambert's in downtown Austin. It's a new venue for live music. My band, The Tony Scalzo Machine, is playing there on March 23rd. It's our first gig of the year and also our first since I stopped taking anti viral meds for hep c, which was a success by the way! Virus free over six months! Get tested or you might die!
I've been working on recording and organizing things for the past 2 weeks since I came home.
The Tony Scalzo Machine consists of:
Joey Shuffield
Harmoni Kelley; I'll see what I can do about that, Harmoni! Harmoni's a fellow Mogger from Austin!
Billy Cassis
....and your's truly, Tony Scalzo
I am still going full on and will hopefully have a full length cd finished by the end of April. The Kathy Valentine collab is going well too. We've written 2 songs so far and will do more soon. Have a nice day!
Any way, I want to put up some new songs but they all run slow and I just don't sound like that. I will investigate....

Congrats on feeling better most importantly!! And I can't wait to hear the new stuff...oh, and I did the band name! 'Machine' has a nice ring to it...plus you will get to see your name on the marquee as soon as you guys go global!

Coolness, I can't wait to hear your new stuff. Kudos and best wishes dude.

Waow nice bassist ;-)) and fella'Moggie too... so here you go again, up and up the road ;-)) as we say in french... merde (supposed to bring more luck than calling good luck, superstition still alive in music/theater folks in french always say it before live shows, typical answer to it is : Je prends (i take it).
Rock it Tony !!

HOLY EFFING GOD, TONY. I was just over at the myspace majig and heard two of the songs. And let me just say I am UBER EXCITED to hear this album!! The Tony Scalzo Machine is a must see on my list of things to do before i die. I know you guys play a lot in Texas, so maybe one summer Lara and I can road trip it down yonder and see a couple of shows.
IN OTHER NEWS - I was talking to a friend of mine who said that you played here in Louisville quite a few years ago with the goo goo dolls. How. Did i miss. That. I was probably too wee to be thinking about going to concerts and the like...but still! Ah well. Honestly, the most shocking thing about that whole discovery is that both bands had actually been to Louisville...I never really thought this town was very uh...Rockin'...if you know what i mean. But apparently it is, considering we've been getting more and more recognition where music is concerned. I mean, it was only a few years ago that we actually got a Hard Rock Cafe!! We're on the MAP now! lol And big bands just recently started coming here. 10 years ago people like Coldplay or the Rolling Stones would have said "Where the bloody fuck is this little back water town?" D: okay, i'm stopping before i end up writing you a novella. Bottom line is you rock, and I can't wait to hear all the new music...and i can't wait to see you play again! Peace \m/ Liz

I will definitely buy it, Tony. But...what does this mean about Fastball? Is your new stuff a side project or has Fastball called it quits?
My Trusted MOGs

Trace? Very cool. Use to have a 1x15 trace cab thought it was a 1x18 for years cause thats what the sales dude told me. Even when I finally used it as a trade in the sales guy at the shop also thought it was a 1x18. I think they use the same cab for both, heavy fucker... Still there if intrested...
