MOG MOG

BECAUSE THE WEB MOSTLY SUCKS

(246)

Some of you may know about my career as a rock singer in the band Fastball. We started in Austin, Tx in 1994 when Miles Zuniga, Joey Shuffield and myself formed after Miles moved back to town from Berkley, Ca. Things moved super fast for us in that final decade of music industry decadence. We performed the goat dance for the label and for radio and it really paid off. Had a couple of hits. Got to travel around the world and hang out with some of our heroes. We were able to make use of recources others only dream of. Ever had Billy Preston play piano on one of your records? We have. Brian Setzer came around to play some guitar on a track as well. Very cool life I've had, indeed.

Anyway, it's been a few years since Fastball's put out any new stuff, (2004 to be exact; Keep Your Wig On RykoDisc) and we've been thinking that it was time to start up the machine again and take it for a spin. My songwriting partner Miles and I have been writing new songs and working with a coalition of the willing to devise a strategy....ummm I mean plan to release new material. We will also be playing a handful of acoustic dates together to get a feel for the material.

So you may get alot more Fastball related Mogging from me in the near future. I will try and put up a few tunes here and there so look out! Tony Scalzo, Miles Zuniga, Joey Shuffield
