Cool For Cats

Fastball got the opportunity of a lifetime earlier in the week by opening up for Squeeze on their Texas dates. I used to get up every morning for school and put on ??Eastside Story??, they were my faves along with Elvis Costello and Joe Jackson. I got to see 'em twice plus hang out after the shows. They are extremely tight and played all the songs I'd hoped they'd play. I'm definitely on a Squeeze bender.
This is a recent performance on the Al Murray Show and you MUST see it through to the end for a very special surprise cover song.

"Cool For Cats"...so catchy. Our band, Neatly Real, is poppy like Squeeze, but nowhere close to it's originality and creativity. Did they do "Tempted"? My bass player went to see the show and liked it and liked you guys too. Great op for you guys.
Caught 'em in Philadelphia and MOGged about it. Hope your sound mixing was better....
Of course they did Tempted. Hey ivy, the front of house sound guy wouldn't turn up Glen's guitar solos. I must say G Tilbrook is one hell of a guitar player. His solos on ??Black Coffee In Bed??, and ??Is That Love??? were stand outs but not loud enough out front.
The main problem from where I was sitting was way too much bass, not enough definition. The venue itself has good acoustics....
