These lads doing much outside the UK? Fucking awesome sound from their debut album.
We played a show with them at the start of the year - good bunch of honest hardworking fellas with their feet on the ground. The show was shit hot but musically I didn't honestly see them laying down songs with enough variation. The album's has happily proved me wrong.
Like the 'Monkeys there are lots of UK-specific references in their lyrics that may fall short oversees but the ballsey musicianship should wash straight over any cultural differences anyway.
They're album title says it all to me - We'll Live And Die In These Towns. How fucking English can you get?
Pressure.
