Artist: Album: Track: Got Something On Me (Andrew Friendly Remix)

so we were tipped off about a guy in London doing some pretty fucked up, leftfield but accessible remixes. and so, we opened our doors and dropped our guard for the first time and allowed someone to toy with one of our songs. share it around.

Artist: Album: Track:

What kind of frontman would I be if I wasn't comfortable shamelessly plugging my own music? Embedded here as an early preview of my band - The Rivers - next single, Knock Me Down. Released Novembe 26th.

Record company weren't happy when we put it up on myspace good and early but heyho and fuck it, it's going to radio next week so what's the big deal. Thought I'd share it with you guys too.

Here's a punchy slice of Detroit guitars with my englishisms sprawling all over the top...

Doesn't seem that long ago I was raving about Alberta Cross but here I am again already...

I've just found they have new material coming out in the UK later this month. This track - which is all over the better radio stations - is the title track from a new EP.

It shows a new edge to their sound without betraying their influences. The vocal is fragile and haunting, the song is a relentless surge. And I can't stop playing it.
