Alberta Cross - new music

Doesn't seem that long ago I was raving about Alberta Cross but here I am again already...I've just found they have new material coming out in the UK later this month. This track - which is all over the better radio stations - is the title track from a new EP.It shows a new edge to their sound without betraying their influences. The vocal is fragile and haunting, the song is a relentless surge. An

These lads doing much outside the UK? Fucking awesome sound from their debut album. We played a show with them at the start of the year - good bunch of honest hardworking fellas with their feet on the ground. The show was shit hot but musically I didn't honestly see them laying down songs with enough variation. The album's has happily proved me wrong.Like the 'Monkeys there are lots of UK-specific

A simply wonderful album of dark gospel. The cover of the Stones' No Expectations is probably the only Stones cover I've heard better the origina...

It's developed from a scratchy single guitar thing into a stripped but full band number.we're about to release a 5-track Napster Live Session on July 30th which features a proper strong version of this, but wanted to drop this teaser version (which is rough as all fuck) from the Juice FM appearance earlier in May.It'll give you a flavour. We've all...

Love Or Whatever

So keeping on the tainted acoustic vibe, we've also been kicking around a song called Love Or Whatever. We've never done it at a show because it somehow doesn't fit or live sound, but we did include the Seaside Demo version on our Too Tied To Try EP...It always proved a winner for in-store or stripped gigs though, so we started dropping it in radio sessions. This version attached here isn't availab
