Who was Emi Jackson & why has she stolen my heart?

From an obscure Japanese compilation. Full on obsession here. Any one with more info please help! Sorry about the lack of posts (and lack of comments for that matter). It's not like I don't care I just became busy.I will try to make some contributions this fall.
