Holy Moly! Another MOGiversary. It's Our Second Year Anniversary!!!

Artist:

Hard to believe but we've been on MOG for over two years. We can't believe that we spaced out on our MOGiversary two weeks ago. Everyone here at the radio show is sticking two candles in a Hostess Ding-Dong to celebrate this festive occasion.
We don't know if we've been the odd profile considering that there is a group of us on this MOG but we were too lazy to each have an account. Considering that our posts have been far outnumbered by many Moggers the past two years, it appears we made the right choice and showed our true lackadaisical colors (so lazy in fact that we're actually rewriting what we posted for our first anniversary - now that's lazy but come on - it's Thanksgiving and we're ready for a serious nap).
That being said...this MOG experience has been wonderful. The past two years have brought about many new friendships that were never imagined when running across this site two years ago. Don't even get us started on the amount of music that was purchased because of this website. You already know what that feeling is like as we're sure that your wallet has been emptied a few times after hearing a song that you just had to have. Nuff said. lol
The music is what brought a lot us together and it's the friendships that developed from this internet idea a year ago that mean the most. We salute you for putting up with our song posts. The songs that we love to play on our little rinky dink radio show. A big mahalo nui loa goes out to many of you who have logged on to our internet stream and for the many Moggers that actually had very nice things to say about our airchecks that are available as podcasts. That really means a lot considering just how far apart many of us Moggers are when it comes to musical preferences. It's that wide ecclectic taste that many Moggers feel for music that makes this site so special.
On the radio we play music that is old and rare alongside overplayed new music because we are suckers for something new that feeds our emotions and soul. Sometimes it's just about tapping the toes or shaking the okole'...or having a chuckle at our younger selves. It was nice to find out that many of you around the globe are the same as us out here in Hawaii no matter what age you are.
Choosing a song for this occasion was difficult. What would make a good birthday or anniversary song worthy of MOG? Ooh...the pressure. Then we remembered. Who really cares? We're all "hanging loose" on MOG with songs that rock hard or cry a whisper. Each post can be taken with love or dismissed without interest so why should we be stressed? :=)
On that note...we'd like to share with you a live performance on The Time Machine from our musical guest Lisa Loeb. The singer-songwriter has performed on Maui three times over the last five years and we were honored to have Lisa stop by The Time Machine studios recently and hang out on the air for a few hours. A perfect song to share with you, our MOG friend, is the song "Best Friend" from her new album "Camp Lisa".
If you'd like to check out her entire interview and performance, you can listen to it from the radio website itself or download it as a podcast to listen at your convenience at http://www.TheTimeMachine.fm
On behalf of the entire crew of The Time Machine - we thank you!
Much Aloha,
Jenny, Michael and Summer
