Summer Blue and I were staying at a hotel and Peter Horton's 1995 film "The Cure" was playing on cable. I had seen the film twice and it never fails to make me cry. While Summer was sound asleep, I was immersed in the movie that began at 3AM, laughing and crying like a baby. Marc Cohn's song was never released commercially and this audio was recorded directly from the soundtrack years ago so it's got the dialogue from the motion picture's sequence.

If you've never seen the movie, the song may not grab your attention out of context. The film has powerful performances from Joseph Mazzello, Brad Renfro, Annabella Sciorra and Diana Scarwid. I highly recommend that you search it out. It came out fifteen years ago and still stands out as both a contemporary and nostalgic film at the same time.
