MOG MOG

BECAUSE THE WEB MOSTLY SUCKS

The Sugar Oaks are an Orlando, Florida band who have developed over the past few years a truly singular sound. It is a warm, bittersweet sort of folk pop which draws from 70s AM golden-harmony hits, The Band, George Harrison, R&B foundations; and also from the spirit of the many musics found strewn like dusty rubies more or less along the equator.

They regularly open Florida dates for artists like Of Montreal, the Hold Steady, John Vanderslice, Magnolia Electric Co., etc.

In June 2007, the Sugar Oaks self-released their debut EP, Red Grapes In The City.
