First of all, I want to wish all you Moggers a happy new year. Fingers crossed we all fair well in the current economic and political climate that we find ourselves in.
I thought it would be a fantastic start to the new year to have a new track released. It was a tough year in 2008 in terms of releasing new material, but in the same light it was a fantastic year for building the foundations for my creative journey.
Anyway, enough chitter chatter. This track as you may have guessed is called 'Escape From Planet X'. Originaly inspired by the area called 'Trash City' at the Glastonbury 2008 music fesival. This track morphed into something else. Trash city was a world of metal, flames and robots which gave an overwhelming feel of a dramtic industrial world. However after finishing the track and having reviewed it a few times I kept getting the feeling of a space battle. A desperate attempt to escape a planet inhabited by invaders of The Serenity Vortex. That planet is Planet X.

Mine was pretty quiet, but kind of welcome. Ended up staying in with the girlfriend and watching Father Ted re-runs and the film Airplane, so a comedy fuelled night in all.
wow, does this not simmer and boil with the enticement of a coming year?? I keep wanting to jump start the synths myself, but I'm too busy dancing...a fine new year right back atcha, and thanks!!!

Cheers buddy!!!! It's been a tough time getting to the stage of releasing stuff. Once all this freelance work is finished I'll be able to have some real fun here on MOG. It does feel good to at least be here in some form! How goes life for you dude?
