It is with a sad and heavy heart that I depart what was once such a wonderful place, and I will miss those of you with whom I had so much digital fun.
It has dawned on me that I really am not cut out for blogging, and that my main reason for being here is for the promotion of my music. I just don't have the time for full on blogging, and adding comments to peoples brilliant posts, and it leaves me with a sense of guilt when I don't. I also felt 'swamped' by the number of posts which added to the feeling of being a blogging failiure.
I want to promote my music but in a more bite sized way, and for that, Last FM will now be my new home. Another factor is the reliability of Last FM, and the way it allows me to control my music and promote it for sale. I am sick of logging on problems, lost posts, clunky interface, slow page serving, and especially the addition of external blogs which, for me, killed what was left of the family feeling, that and all the other stuff which detracts from being creative here on MOG made me realise it had to come to an end (even posting this was traumatic!!)
The irony of it all is that I will be joining the MOG group over on Last FM in the hope of clinging on to those of you I will miss very much!!
It's not just MOG that I am leaving, I am having a general thinning out of my life on the net to allow me to focus. That focus has already allowed me to re-structure my albums, add content to my website and release more music.
Tomorrow I will be releasing an album of my original works entitled 'Neuron' via the Tunecore network, which means it will be available in just about every online music retail site you can shake a music stick at.
I love you all but sometimes you just have to follow the path.......

For your ambient and psychedelic works, you should promote yourself over on isratrance.com in the ambient and chillout forums. It's a very small community and new music/artists are always welcome. :)

God, I hate facebook, but I really should spend some time learning the navigation....I'll check in when you least expect Paul-o...I'm working on new tunes myself....
I also hate facebook......especially the navigation and that is coming frm a professional web designer/developer lol!!! But it is a necessary evil lol!!
