Hey, My friends band got a bad review in the NME... which i felt was unfair and simply uncalled for... i think they are a great band and don't deserve such "bad press" at such a key point in their career as they have just got signed to Vertigo records.
Their review can be read in this week's edition of the NME magazine in the "buzz" section.

Sounds just fine to me. And, if they are as young as they look, it's pretty impressive. You and Me, in particular, is very catchy.
Listened to the Msypace. Really liked it. Wouldn't worry 'bout NME. You can please everyone all of the time. If you try, you will make a Westlife record.
Aw, sorry to hear that. I stopped reading such reviews years ago. Don't trust them. Being a journalist I am very well aware of all the factors that can affect these reviews. And by this point I hope/think that most people try to find music on their own than trust magazines. Like me right now checking out their myspace page. Your friends rock :)
